Letter to Parents from Miss Hitchcox

Dear Parents and Carers,

I am writing to inform you that I have decided the time is right to move onto the next chapter of my career.  To enable me to begin my new employment, my last day at Holland House Infant School and Nursery will be Friday, 24th May.

Serving as the Headteacher at this wonderful school for the past four years has been an absolute privilege.

While I am saddened to leave, I am grateful for the memories we have created together as a community.

During my time here, we have achieved remarkable success, exceeding national standards and becoming a beacon school for supporting children’s mental health and well-being. Together, we navigated through the challenges of two lockdowns during the pandemic, emerging stronger and more resilient as a school.

I have full confidence in the staff and leaders at Holland House and within the wider Broadleaf Partnership Trust, knowing that they will continue to lead the school to even greater heights. I am pleased to share that Mrs. Smith, the Head Teacher at Town Junior School, will be embarking on a new role as the Headteacher over both schools, continuing to foster collaboration and ensure a seamless continuation of learning across the trust.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you for your unwavering support throughout my time at Holland House. Your dedication to our school community has been truly remarkable, and I will always cherish the memories we have shared.

As I prepare to embark on a new chapter, I wish you, your families, and the wider community nothing but the very best for the future.

Thank you for being an integral part of this incredible journey.
